Burning canon Rebel digital camera MOV files into DVD

“The mov files are from my canon Rebel digital camera. I have a Dell Precision M4600 computer that is running windows 7. The mov files are too large and take too much space of my pc. So I think burning them into DVD is a good way. Any suggestions or help is appreciated”
